eMailing List

The NJARC Communicator mailing list is a Google Groups email list.

A copy of a member's message sent to The Communicator will be broadcast to all list subscribers.

This list is open to all paid members of the NJARC.

List Ettiquette

The Communicator is used for:

• Mailing out the newest issue of The Broadcaster club newsletter.
• NJARC event promotion and discussion.
• Vintage Electronics-related discussions, questions and answers.
• Announcements of other hobby-related events.
• For Sale and Wanted posts (as long as it's related to vintage electronics).

The Communicator is not used for:

• Anything Illegal.
• Anything hurtful or hateful towards fellow members or others.
• Political Opinions.
• Promotion or Degredation of Religion.
• In other words, be nice!

How to use the mailing list

It’s just email. If you currently use email, it’s the same process as sending an email to an individual — except you’re sending it to everyone in the club at the same time.

New messages

To post a new message to the Communicator, send your email to njarc-communicator@googlegroups.com.

Hint: Add this address to your contacts or address book.

Replies

Reply behavior varies by your mail client. Typically, “Reply” sends only to the original poster, and “Reply All” sends to the group and the poster. A reminder appears at the bottom of all postings.

Attachments

Attachments (documents, pictures, video clips) are supported and can be added just like any other email attachment. For images, you can also copy an image and paste it directly into the body of your email if your client supports it.

Administrators

The NJARC Communicator is administered for the club on a volunteer basis by members Bill Zukowski and Jerry Ingordo. Reach out to one of them with any suggestions, opinions, or issues about the Communicator.
